Traxxas RC – The Beginning
It all began in 1986, when a company had a fresh new idea on an existing product. They decided to combine all of the best features of the hobby shop quality, assemble your self, RC cars and trucks, with the ease of the out-of-the-box and ready to go convenience of the cheaper “Toy RC cars” of the time.
This Traxxas RC concept is known throughout the hobby industry as RTR (ready to run). Texas quickly became known for their RTR RC cars and trucks, which even though came completely assembled, you could still purchase every single part separately, as well as aftermarket in factory modification parts. This new concept, along with many additional innovations and forwarding thinking designs, has catapulted Traxxas RC vehicles into the number one selling RTR radio controlled cars and trucks.
Traxxas RC – Variety of RC Vehicles
The current line up of Traxxas RC trucks is vast. They produce both nitro (gas) and electric, as well as two wheel and four wheel drive versions. You can also get 1/10 scale or 1/16 scale versions of many of the Traxxas RC trucks. Below is a list of current product lines, for the current offerings. Traxxas RC – Looking Forward
Traxxas RC vehicles continue to dominate the RC markets and win awards. Some innovations are their brushless electric RC cars and trucks that are reaching speeds up to 70 MPH out of the box, as well as waterproof electric vehicles. The future looks bright for Traxxas RC vehicles. The innovations keep coming, and I am looking forward to what is coming next. Who knows maybe Traxxas will eventually take to the sky. The sky seems to be the limit when it comes to the Traxxas team, after all, looking back to 1986, I don’t think anyone thought this small company could bring such great changes to the radio control, hobby world.
