Reverse Installation Kits are now available for both models, with full instructions and all required hardware—right down to a sub-micro servo to operate the shifting mechanism. Pics of the General(T-Maxx)
Took some pics of my general lee body on my t-maxx Actually I bought this at walmart it was an electric rc car 1/10 scale model of the dukes of hazzard. It came painted and with lights all I had to do was drill some holes. I know that is kinda cheap but it was really inexpensive and fits perfectly on the truck so all you haters out there that want to say that I took a cheap route, I sure did and it costs a lot less than buying a clear body and painting it. The best part is it was only ELEVEN DOLLARS(I think it was mismarked).
This is where I learnt that NO, you can’t make a Traxxas T-Maxx do a forward roll in the air by hitting the brake – but you CAN snap the engine mount! Maybe the added inverted commas will help you get the hint that the title was tongue-in-cheek? – Of course it wasn’t destroyed, it cost me a whole 8 quid for a new engine mount – and no I don’t care if a savage engine mount is cheaper/better/a nicer colour.

HPI Savage xl 5.9 or Traxxas T-Maxx 3.3 or Traxxas Jato 3.3?
Question by doug: HPI Savage xl 5.9 or Traxxas T-Maxx 3.3 or Traxxas Jato 3.3?
I currently own a Redcat tornado bb and have had it for a few year. i want more power and more speed.
im looking for something that i can take into a parking lot and haul A$ $ . but then take it into the trails and not get stuck on a few branches. i want more low end torque and power but want to still have speed. also something that is built well and wont break easily. i read the jato is cool for awhile then the wheelies get old because it has so much torque you cant keep the tyres on the ground..or was that just from bad drivers? read the savage is a nitro guzzler. is it really that bad or is it just people complaining? read the T-maxx is a piece of plastic that breaks all of the time….
ANYONE WHO ACTUALLY HAS ONE PLEASE HELP. please no opinions i’m looking for facts. if you just plain hate hpi or traxxas and have no real reason do not bother, but if you had one and all you did was have to replace things because it was fragile let me know.
THANK YOU! for any and all help.
if you recommend one please tell me why? is it good on gas? does it have amazing torque and great speed? have you had one for a few months and had little to no problems….
THANK YOU AGAIN!

well the jato is good for speed on road. Savage is great too. But out of those choices i would pick the Tmaxx 3.3. If i were buying i would go with the revo 3.3 it is so good i own it and it got real speed and it has tons of torque hope this helped
