Nitro RC Cars versus Electric Cars
Nitro RC Cars versus Electric Cars
Women may not seem to understand but it is true that once a big boy is grown, there is still that little boy inside of him. There is such an awesome wonder for an 8 year old mind about remote control cars, and to those RC car enthusiasts, this wonder has always been their twin. Some men and boys would even go to parks where other species of their kind would gather up and do some Nitro RC cars and Electric cars bashing for their leisure.
What are RC cars anyway? Technically, if RC car alone is to be defined it is a radio controlled car. “R/C” stands short for radio controlled or remote controlled cars. They are small vehicles that are being connected to their controller by a wire. They are also fun to play with, but there is a difference between the Nitro RC cars and Electric cars.
The small and strong and durable electric motors, including the rechargeable nickel-cadmium, and even the nickel metal hydride, or what we call lithium polymer cells are the ones providing power to these little Electric cars.
In contrast Nitro cars are fuel powered just like a real car. They use engines called as glow plug and fuel them with a special combination of oil, nitromethane, and methanol.
Electric cars are commonly what the newbie’s would prefer because it’s easier for them to play with than the fuel driven Nitro RC cars. However they can also be as complex and high in maintenance and also require excellence in the controller’s skill levels.
The fuel powered nitro car engine can give maximum power at medium to high speeds. These cars can be refueled and turn into action after a few seconds unlike the electric powered ones that will need a lot of time to get recharged.
Once a Nitro car is properly tuned, the controller can just cool it off with air or by oil mixed with fuel and they get back in shape ready for the race.
These two different kinds of cars have two available categories for each, the on-road and even off-road vehicle models. The off-road cars are functional in any terrain while on-road models will only be limited to paved and smooth surfaces.
Due to the power and speed these nitro RC cars produce, most parents fear the thought of letting their children play with these types of toys. But as a toy this car is very safe and has been approved by several authorities to be a good play thing that can be fun for children and adults alike.
There you have it! The Nitro RC cars and the Electric cars you can chose from for every big boy’s enjoyment. You can buy one for yourself if you want to make this a hobby or you can also purchase one to give as a special gift to your kids. Either way, getting these toy cars is all worth it. Surely, you will be wanting for more as soon as you started getting one. This is simply enjoyable toy to own.
