Traxxas Revo 3.3 with .28 Big Block
Check out this cool Traxxas RC Video!
You can see the build thread here. www.rcuniverse.com Finally got her tuned in after a long break in process. Note that this is on loose soil. On grippy surfaces it is mental and uncontrollable lol. Running 5% Powermaster fuel w/hot plug. 17/36 gearing, .28 Dynamite Engine mated to a THS BB pipe. .

Thanks. Integy makes a 34t, haven’t seen anyone else make it. My next clutch bell will be 20+t
how do u like this engine
Got about a quart through, so far so good. Holds tune, doesn’t overheat, doesn’t leak, has good power, and will push any gearing you throw at it. Most power is delivered in low to mid range and it’s rather thirsty compared to the stock 3.3.
whould you know what .28 engine is best for revo? and what whould be needed for this to fit and will tranny replacment be needed?
Check the link in the video description, I documented the conversion.
Picco, LRP, OS. .28s are all great choices. More expensive though.
omg that thing justs cranks
try a center diff too.that will tame the wheelies and let it steer better.
BEAST!!!!!!
It’s just awesome to see nitro revos pulling the front up like nothing at all..
makes the brushless guys jealous.. lol
what about sts .28 is that any good?
does the car have a center diff ???
Awsome
this kicks my 3.3′s butt
i would love to see what it will do agenst a brushless lipoly
are you running metal gearing / spur ?
No, plastic holds up fine
I have a BL Revo now, on 6S no nitro can compare
I can get this kind of power at1/2 throttle
Dang! Have you ever taken it over any sweet jumps??
Do u run metal gears cause is u dot I can lead to expensive problomes
Hey what kind of spin start shaft did you use on the drill in the other vid? Thanks D
How did you get the throttle linkage to fully open with the tx. I have the same one and kit but unable to fully open. That thing is sweet.
can you tell me what pipe you are running
how many tanks of fuel did you use till you started leaning it out?
@revowild on tank 5
